Australian luxury yacht builder Riviera has announced its new 735 SUV, a 24.26-metre model that combines features of its Sports Motor Yacht and Sport Yacht ranges.
The 735 SUV becomes the largest model in Riviera’s SUV collection, with a focus on long-range cruising, onboard entertaining and accommodation for up to 11 people.
The Gold Coast-based builder says the new model is designed to offer the offshore capability of its Sports Motor Yachts alongside the open-plan entertaining spaces of its Sport Yachts.
Power comes from a choice of twin MAN V12 diesel engines, with either 2000hp or 2200hp available per engine. Riviera has not disclosed performance figures, pricing or Australian delivery timing.

The yacht measures 24.26m overall, including its swim platform and bowsprit, with a 6m beam and a preliminary dry weight of about 51,590kg. Its fuel capacity is listed at 10,000 litres, suggesting a substantial cruising range, although Riviera has not yet published an official range figure.
The 735 SUV is designed around a large cockpit that can be configured for entertaining, fishing and watersports. Features include a barbecue, wet bar and refrigeration, while fishing options include a live bait tank, outriggers, rod holders and insulated fish bins.
An alfresco deck connects with the saloon through an opening door and awning window, creating a single-level entertaining space. There is also a forward seating area intended for relaxing away from the main cockpit.

Below deck, the yacht has four staterooms, including a full-beam master suite and a forward VIP cabin, both with ensuites. Two further guest cabins share the remaining accommodation, while a separate aft-accessed space can be specified as a crew cabin or configured as a utility room for equipment and other owner requirements.
At the helm, Riviera says touchscreen navigation, joystick controls and an integrated camera system are intended to simplify operation. A second joystick is fitted in the cockpit to assist with low-speed manoeuvring and docking.
Other available equipment includes remote monitoring, solar charging, fin or gyro stabilisation and Starlink connectivity.

Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst says the 735 SUV has been designed to be manageable by a couple, with or without crew. That claim will be of interest to prospective owners considering a yacht of this size, although handling characteristics and performance will ultimately depend on the vessel’s final specification and operating conditions.
The 735 SUV is the latest addition to Riviera’s SUV range, which sits alongside its Sport Yacht, Sports Motor Yacht, Motor Yacht and Belize collections. The company says it has built more than 6300 yachts over its 46-year history.
