Riviera reveals new 645 SUV Series II

Riviera has pulled the covers of its latest adventure yacht, with the new 645 SUV Series II boasting a redesigned interior, enhanced technology, and a range of innovations

Riviera has unveiled the new 645 SUV Series II, an updated version of its flagship SUV model featuring a redesigned interior, new technology, and a range of customisation options.

The Australian luxury boat builder says the Series II builds on the original 645 SUV, which launched in 2021, with a focus on improving onboard comfort, functionality and owner experience.

According to Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst, the latest model reflects the company's ongoing product development strategy.

"The Series II is the result of an extensive refinement approach, creating an interior design and aesthetic that is both contemporary and timeless," Longhurst said.

He added that the updated model incorporates new technology and design improvements intended to make the yacht more practical and enjoyable for owners.

Measuring 64 feet in length, the 645 SUV Series II combines the open cockpit layout of Riviera's Sports Motor Yacht range with the single-level entertaining spaces found in its Sport Yacht models. The cockpit is designed to accommodate a variety of uses, including water sports, fishing and entertaining, while an optional hydraulic swim platform provides easier access to the water and simplifies launching personal watercraft.

The protected alfresco deck connects directly to the saloon and galley through sliding glass doors and a lift-up awning window, creating a continuous indoor-outdoor living area. Standard features include lounge seating, a refreshment centre, Smart TV and opening sunroof.

The galley is equipped with premium appliances, multiple refrigeration units and integrated storage, while the forward deck offers additional seating and sun pads for up to eight guests.

Below deck, buyers can choose between three or four-cabin layouts, each incorporating three bathrooms and a full-beam master suite. Riviera also offers a range of configuration options, including replacing the fourth cabin with a lower lounge, adding a dedicated utility room and laundry, or specifying an additional crew cabin.

Power comes from a choice of twin MAN diesel engines, with either 1300hp V8s or 1550hp V12s available.

Technology highlights include joystick manoeuvring, an integrated multi-camera monitoring system and Sentinel remote vessel monitoring. Buyers can also option Starlink internet connectivity, Praxis Composite solar charging technology, and either Humphree fin stabilisers or a Seakeeper stabilisation system.
