Riviera has offered a first look at its new Belize 55 Sedan and Daybridge ahead of the model’s world premiere at the 2026 Newport International Boat Show in Rhode Island, positioning the launch as an expansion of its luxury Belize motor yacht range and a response to continued demand for customisable, classic-style cruisers.
The Belize 55 sits within Riviera’s luxury motor yacht line-up and continues the brand’s focus on semi-custom builds, with each vessel tailored to owner preference in layout, finishes and detailing. According to Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst, the design is intended to blend traditional Downeast-inspired styling with modern Australian manufacturing and systems integration, appealing to experienced boat owners seeking a highly personalised yacht.
Two configurations will be offered: a Sedan version with a single main-deck living arrangement, and a Daybridge variant that adds an upper helm and secondary social area. Both versions share the same hull and accommodation layout, with the key distinction being the presence or absence of the elevated bridge deck.

The hull has been designed around Volvo Penta IPS propulsion, featuring a fine entry, keel-assisted tracking and pronounced chines intended to improve offshore stability, fuel efficiency and handling. The standard power package consists of twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS 950 units, with joystick control systems available at multiple stations to assist with docking and close-quarters manoeuvring.
A strong emphasis has been placed on outdoor living and entertaining. The design includes a full-beam hydraulic swim platform, a watersports garage integrated into the transom and an aft deck that connects directly to the saloon via wide sliding doors, effectively extending the main social space when open. The Daybridge variant adds a second outdoor entertaining area with seating, a wet bar and an additional helm position.

Accommodation is arranged on a lower deck with three staterooms and two bathrooms, including a full-beam master suite with ensuite facilities, natural light and increased storage. Riviera describes the layout as prioritising comfort and extended cruising capability, with an emphasis on liveability for longer stays aboard.
Technology offerings include remote monitoring via Sentinel, onboard camera systems, Starlink connectivity and optional stabilisation systems aimed at improving comfort and operational awareness underway and at anchor.

Riviera has not positioned the Belize 55 as a high-volume production model, instead indicating limited annual output consistent with the semi-custom nature of the range. Pricing has not yet been released ahead of its official debut.
The Belize 55 Sedan and Daybridge will make their public world premiere at the Newport International Boat Show on 17 September 2026, where Riviera is expected to present both configurations for the first time.
