Riviera expands in the US

Stuart, a city on Florida’s Treasure Coast, bills itself as the “sailfish capital of the world” and has almost as many boats as people. But from now on boaters will have more choice as Riviera, Australia’s most award-winning pleasure boat builder, has appointed Treasure Coast Boating Centre is its local dealer.

Riviera Yachts USA director Chris McCafferty says Treasure Coast Boating Centre, which has been in the same on-water location for 18 years, will represent Riviera over a large section of northern Florida up to the Georgia state line.

McCafferty says the move opens an exciting new chapter for Riviera in Florida and that TCBC principal D. Thomas Grane will provide a professional and pleasurable boating experience for Riviera customers. Grane has spent the past 26 years operating marine sales and service facilities in both Florida and Georgia.

Grane says the boating market in Florida with its miles of waterfront homes, the Inter Costal Waterway, offshore cruising and fishing, represents a unique opportunity for Riviera and his company.

“We believe the depth and bredth of the product like make Riviera unique,” Grane told BoatPoint. “Being able to offer the extensive Flybridge collection
and Offshore Express collection will attract the cruising customer as well as the sport fisherman.”
