Outer Reef Yachts will exhibit its new 550 Trident long-range sport motoryacht at the 2016 Miami International Boat Show from February 11-15. The new Trident Series was developed in cooperation with Setzer Yacht Architects, an American-founded custom-boat design studio.
Outer Reef says its new Tridents combine stylistic innovation, technology and functionality, while applying the seakeeping attributes made popular with its motoryachts.
The new boat's attractive plumb-bow hull design, chic styling elements, and length options modernise the 550 Outer Reef Trident Series. Enhanced fuel efficiency will also be a feature in larger models up to 106 feet.
Jeff Druek, President and CEO of Outer Reef Yachts, said: "We anticipated the Trident 550 would be a spectacular yacht, especially in terms of performance and efficiency. No stone was left unturned from the latest technology to impeccable use of space and everything on a long range cruiser’s wishlist is at his or her fingertips. During extensive bluewater sea trials, the Trident 550 surpassed all expectations."
Outer Reef Yachts will also launch the new 860 Deluxbridge Motoryacht at the show. The boatbuilder said demand for this skylounge model has increased due to the advantages of a temperature controlled upper helm station with protection from the elements during bluewater and long-distance cruising.
In Australia, Outer Reef is now part of the local eyachts portfolio of yacht and motorboat brands. More at Outer Reef Yachts and eyachts.
