First Azimut Grande 35 METRI tri-deck sold to Australian boater

The Australian Azimut importer, 5 Star Motor Cruisers, has proudly announced the sale of the first Azimut Grande 35 METRI tri-deck to a local owner. But don't expect to see the Italian superyacht tied up at Rozelle or Docklands just yet.

Scheduled for completion in Azimut's Viareggio shipyard during March 2019, the Azimut Grande 35 METRI will spend at least the first part of its charmed life in the Mediterranean, where its Australian owner and family can enjoy the beautiful coasts of Italy, France and the Spanish islands.

The new flagship of the Azimut Group, the Azimut Grande 35 METRI has been a global big hit, accounting for the sale of more than 10 hulls since its launch in August 2017.

The superyacht features a pure carbon fibre superstructure, D2P (Displacement to Planing®) hull, side garage for tender and jet ski, two beach clubs, and what is pitched as the largest extending terrace on the market. As it's dedicated to the owner's suite, you'll need a VIP ticket for a look-in.

The spacious and generous layout includes four guest cabins (two VIP cabins with double beds and two with twin beds), with access from a large central lobby.

One of the standout features of the Azimut Grande 35 METRI's interiors is said to be the spiral staircase. The backlit onyx steps, finished in white lacquer and mother of pearl, connect all the decks, right the way from the lower level to the pilot house.

Meantime, 5 Star Motor Cruisers has also secured the sale of another Azimut 50 Flybridge and — for the first time in Australia — 
a new model of Azimut 55 Flybridge, which was recently launched at the 2018 Dusseldorf International Boat Show.
