Billed as a "massive marine showcase," the new Gold Coast International Boat Show and Marine Expo will create Queensland’s largest boat show when the doors open from March 17-19.
Event & Marketing Manager Emma Brown said that 2017 visitors would
be able to see more new releases than ever before at the award-winning
boat show, which refers to the Gold Coast Marine Expo previously held in
November.
According to the organisers, more than 90 per cent of exhibitor space is already sold or reserved and the extremely strong level of inquiry is increasing every day.
"Boating enthusiasts will be able to see all the new-year releases first right here at Australia’s boating industry capital, the Gold Coast Marine Precinct in Waterway Drive, Coomera," said Mrs Brown.
"Our boat show will feature luxurious motor yachts and stylish sailing vessels, a vast array of tenders and trailerboats, engines, marine accessories and equipment across a giant 3km display circuit.
"It’s going to be an incredible experience and you’ll definitely need more than one day to experience and enjoy all that there is to see and do."
THE MARCH SHOW DATES
The boat-show and Expo organisers says March is a fantastic time to visit the Gold Coast, especially for the growing number of interstate and international visitors seeking to purchase a new boat, repower or replace their boat’s systems and accessories.
"Nowhere else in the world is a boat show held right in the heart of the largest boat-building and shipyard facilities in the host country," Mrs Brown adds.
"This is a great location for boating enthusiasts to come and see it all first in 2017 as it's very easy to access and we have thousands of free car-parks right outside the welcome gates."
