Riviera Australia at Cannes Yachting Festival

Luxury motor yacht builder Riviera has announced three inspiring European premieres as part of its stunning on-water showcase for this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival from September 6-11, 2016.

Proudly on display for the first time in Europe will be the stylish new 5400 Sport Yacht, the true bluewater 52 Enclosed Flybridge, and the unique 45 Open Flybridge.

Riviera international sales director Chris McCafferty said Cannes Yachting Festival is the first industry show of the Mediterranean season and one of the leading in-water boat shows in Europe with more than 50,000 visitors.

"This glittering setting has been made famous by the annual Cannes Film Festival and is held right in the heart of the French Riviera," he said.

"It’s the perfect location to share Riviera Australia’s ethos of excellence and philosophy of creating ‘the ultimate boating experience’."

Mr McCafferty said Riviera’s latest luxurious motor yachts have been very well received in Australia and the Americas and he is certain the European market will be equally impressed.

"Riviera has a rich 36-year heritage of striving to enhance the fun and fulfillment of its global family of discerning luxury motor yacht owners, and works collaboratively with them to continually refine the hallmark easy-to-use equipment and technology, and the practicality and hands-on operational design aspects that make the Riviera boating experience superior.

Gold Coast-based Riviera is busy building truly world-class boats and in expansion mode, with more than half of its production exported to overseas markets.

Representatives from the Riviera team — including international sales director Chris McCafferty, brand and communications director Stephen Milne and French-speaking sales support executive Sabrina Jurak — will be available to provide full details of the luxury marque’s latest new model releases: the 4800 Sport Yacht, the 57 Enclosed Flybridge, the 575 SUV and 525 SUV, as well as Riviera’s new luxurious and long-range Sports Motor Yacht designs of 68 and 72 feet.
