Princess Yachts appoints new Australian distributor
A couple of big names on the Australian boat landscape join forces to represent the British luxury motor yacht marquePrincess Yachts has appointed a new Australian distributor to sell its growing range of luxury motor yachts.
Haines Group director Greg Haines and Scott Davis Marine founder Scott Davis have joined together to form Princess Yachts Australia, based on the Gold Coast.
“We are honoured to join the Princess family and represent this industry leading brand in
Australia,” Haines said in a statement announcing the new partnership and distriburtorship.
“Over the next 12 months we have an exciting calendar of events scheduled and
look forward to engaging with existing and prospective Princess clients.”
That includes expanding the Princess business to other parts of Australia.
Building on a passion
Haines brings a wealth of maritime experience to the partnership and has worked with yacht builders both locally in Australia and internationally, all while maintaining an active interest in the family business.
The Haines Group builds Signature, Seafarer and Tournament trailer boats, and is the Australian distributor for Suzuki outboard engines.
Davis has been involved in the marine industry all his working life and the Princess brand for more than 12 years; both with Princess Yachts in Plymouth and more recently
through his own brokerage business.
Princess Yachts said Davis had a great relationship with many existing Princess customers and owners and was also a Princess owner himself.
Princess Yachts will have the Australian premiere of the Princess V65 at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
