The Polish government has announced it will make a return to the Sydney International Boat Show, just as keen to talk up the European country’s boating credentials as it was last year.
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency has announced it will have a stand at booth 608A at this year’s show, which will “promote the Polish yacht and boat sector among foreign entrepreneurs”.
“The Polish Investment and Trade Agency implements a yachts and boats industry promotion program, whose aim is to promote the Polish economy, based on Polish product brands falling within the National Smart Specialisation areas,” the agency said in a statement.

“Actions implemented as part of the task are focused on promoting the yachts industry as a whole,” it said.
“...Any of those interested will be able to learn more there [at the Polish stand] about the potential of the Polish yachting industry and to obtain information about the offer of our domestic manufacturers of boats, parts, equipment and about related services.”
However, it’s not just in Australia where the Polish government is keen to build exports. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency said Polish-built yachts and boats, and the services used to support them, also would be promoted in the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
Brands sold in Australia and built in Poland include motor yacht maker Galeon Yachts, day boat specialist Parker Poland (which had a stand at the recent Melbourne boat show), and catamaran and luxury motor yacht maker Sunreef,
The Polish Investment and Trade Agency said more information about the program was available at yachts.trade.gov.pl/en.
