Whittley will be displaying a range of luxury trailerable Cruisers, Sea Legend fishers and family boats at Queenscliff Harbour on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday October 14 and 15.
The exclusive Whittley Trailerboat Show will feature a range of rigs both in the water at Queenscliff Harbour and in the retail precinct. The Whittley Club will also be in town showcasing the social side of the brand.
The weekend-long exclusive Whittley Trailerboat Show will provide an opportunity for potential new boat buyers to experience first-hand what makes a Whittley trailerboat so unique and different. Test drives are available.
Sales Executive at Whittley Boats, Dean Oltoumis, said the Melbourne boatbuilder is excited to be showcasing the trailerboat range to the Geelong and Ballarine Peninsula community, as well as other Melbourne visitors making the trip.
"Queenscliff is a growing boating destination for around the Bay, and the harbour provides the ideal location to stop and enjoy the surrounds for a day or leave your boat for an extended period.
"This area is a growing market for our brand and having Whittley Boats on display is ideal to provide locals with a good opportunity to review the Whittley range of boats," he said.
WHITTLEY LINE-UP
The Whittley line-up will include the CW 1650, a no-frills family fishing package costing from $37,990 drive away, through to the largest trailerable Cruiser, the CR 2800, with a number of other models in between.
Whittley builds a diverse range of trailerboats in Melbourne in five series including the XS sports wake boats, CR traditional cruiser weekenders, SL deep vee offshore performance fishing boats, CW outboard-powered entry-level boats, and the FF range of weekender/fisher hybrids.
Alan Whittley and other staff from the company will be on hand all weekend at the Queenscliff Harbour Boat Show to assist would-be buyers with any boating advice or questions that they may have.
"There are some limited productions slots available and great deals for those wanting a boat for the summer period still available," Oltoumis adds.
WHITTLEY CLUB AS WELL
Meantime, the Melbourne Whittley Cruiser Club will be staging a weekend cruise to Queenscliff Harbour on the same weekend of October 14-15.
There is a Whittley owner's-club dinner in the retail complex as well on the Saturday night. All current and perspective Whittley owners should register for the cruise weekend with the Club.
"We encourage everyone thinking of a buying a new fibreglass boat to come and have a drive on the water. Plus, you can meet with current Whittley owners and members of the Melbourne Whittley Cruiser Club in their boats.
"It is going to be a lot of fun and something for the whole family to enjoy." Oltoumis says.
