Whittley to showcase new flagship cruiser at 2026 Sydney Boat Show

The new Whittley CR 1300 OB will make its first public NSW appearance at the upcoming Sydney Boat Show

Whittley Marine Group will showcase its new flagship CR 3100 OB at the 2026 Sydney Boat Show, marking the Australian-built cruiser's first public appearance in New South Wales.

The 9.2-metre model was launched earlier this year and now sits at the top of Whittley's trailer boat range. Despite its size, the CR 3100 OB has a 2.49-metre beam, allowing it to remain legally trailerable on Australian roads.

Designed as a family cruiser, the CR 3100 OB features an island queen berth, enclosed bathroom, galley and multiple entertaining areas. Whittley says the boat has been developed to deliver the comfort and accommodation of a larger cruiser while retaining the convenience of a trailer boat.

Power comes from a Honda BF350 V8 outboard, with the company claiming the package offers strong offshore performance, easy handling and good fuel efficiency.

Whittley NSW Sales Manager Blake Knight said the Sydney Boat Show would give local buyers their first opportunity to inspect the new model in person.

"The CR 3100 OB changes expectations of what a trailerable cruiser can be," Knight said.

In addition to the new flagship, Whittley will use the show to promote its repower services, including Honda Marine outboard upgrades and Volvo Penta sterndrive replacements. The company will also highlight its trailer business, offering Dunbier and Mackay trailers for new and existing boat owners.

The Sydney Boat Show runs from July 30 to August 2, with the CR 3100 OB set to be displayed on Whittley's stand throughout the event.
