Navan, the luxury dayboat brand launched last year by US-based global marine group Brunswick Corporation, will officially launch in Australia in February.
The new range will be distributed in Australia by Sydney-based Collins Marine, the Australian distributor for Brunswick’s European brands including Avror and Quicksilver.
The Navan range is currently limited to two 10.2-metre boats, the S30 hardtop and the fully enclosed C30. The C30 is the first model scheduled to arrive, with Collins Marine saying it will soon be available for exclusive viewings.
Both walkaround-styled boats are built in Poland and feature strong European design cues including a long, narrow-beam twin-stepped hull, but with a slightly reversed bow for cutting through waves and chop.

They also feature twin-seat helm stations, a forward cabin with a double berth, a large skylight, plenty of storage options, and a bathroom with an electric flushing head and a pressurised shower with hot water.
The walkaround design means both models have easy access forward to the large sun pad on the foredeck, with tall rails offering an extra level of safety.
Both boats are also expected to come pre-rigged with Simrad NSX chartplotters and fishfinders, as well as CZone digital switching systems that allow skippers to do everything from turn on the lights to manage batteries, either from the boat’s dashboard or via a smartphone.
The hardtop Navan S30 comes with cockpit seats that turn to face aft and a compact galley.

The C30, meanwhile, features a fully enclosed wheelhouse with two rows of quilted seating, an internal galley with sink and stove and port and starboard access doors. An aft bay window flips up and a sunroof opens to provide airflow.
Optional equipment includes an air-conditioning system that uses an eFusion battery system to power it.
The range is powered by a single 300hp Mercury V8 Verado or 400hp V10 Verado, or twin engines ranging from 225hp Mercury V6s to 300hp V8 Verados fitted with Mercury’s Joystick Piloting for Outboards.
The Navan range of boats was officially launched at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
Collins Marine first started importing Arvor boats to Australia 25 years ago, and introduced the Quicksilver range about a decade ago.
According to Collins Marine chief executive Peter Collins, this allowed the group to offer the serious fishing market as well as those customers looking for a more leisurely boat to cruise on.
“After testing this new Navan range with the Brunswick international dealers and seeing the public reaction in Cannes, I feel it has again raised the bar in performance, comfort, and innovation, and we are looking forward to showing the result to the Australian market,” Collins said.
