Clipper teams with Geoff Lovett

Clipper Motor Yachts Australia has announced that the team at Geoff Lovett International will be representing the Clipper range of semi-displacement motor yachts in the NSW market.

The announcement coincides with Geoff Lovett International’s new office opening at Sydney City Marine and the appointment of Sydney marine veteran, John Waters, joining the team at Lovett’s.

Commenting on the appointment, Clipper Managing Director, Brett Thurley said: "This alliance has been a while in the making and now with Perry James spearheading the team at Lovett’s, we are excited to be aligned with them in their new location for new and pre-owned Clipper sales.”

Our two businesses have worked together harmoniously for a long time now and we feel that Pete Lovett and John Waters in Sydney will give us the focus we need to grow our NSW sales and get more Clippers on the water with happy owners.”

The partnership will see new Clipper inventory at Lovett’s in 2016 and a presence at Sydney Boat Show every year to support the brand and the dealership.

Perry James, Managing Director of Geoff Lovett International, is delighted with the new alliance with Clipper Motor Yachts and is looking forward to a long and successful association between the two companies.

Clipper and Lovett’s will grow the owner network to include on-water events like the Queensland Fraser Island Regatta which Clipper organises for 15 boats and 40 owners annually.

Geoff Lovett International has been in the marine brokerage and sales business on the Gold Coast for over 26 years and the patriarch of the business, Geoff Lovett, remains active with ongoing sales and customer support today.
