Clipper Motor Yachts has partnered with internationally recognised Facheris Design to undertake the remodelling of its Hudson Bay range beginning with the latest 54-footer now in build.
Facheris Design is based in Florida, US, and has more than 30 years' industry experience and recognition for its beautiful design work on luxury boats ranging from tenders to Cruisers Yachts, Cobalts and some state-of-the-art superyachts.
"To have Patrizio [Facheris] and his team agree to come onboard and work with us on the new range of Hudson Bay motoryachts and then the remainder of the Clipper range is a major coupe for us," said Clipper Managing Director, Brett Thurley.
"Patrizio is the epitome of Italian design flair and has been working with major USA and European companies for more than 20 years. He is a master craftsman and an artistic leader in his field so we are delighted to be partnering with him."
The Australian-owned and Gold Coast-based Clipper boat company was apparently at the crossroads of taking its interior layouts and finishes to a far more modern and contemporary level when it engaged Facheris, whose Yacht and Product Design Studio will now be available to new Clipper customers looking for a world-class custom interior.
Besides the Hudson Bay 54 due June 2017, Facheris will redesign the interiors of the new 35, 39, 50 and eventually the future 64 in this evolving semi-displacement cruiser range.
"We wanted big volume, style, performance, superb sea keeping ability and high-quality construction and finish... this new range delivers that and more," Thurley says. "Now we have added Italian design flair so the package is without peer."
