The boatbuilder said it's a case of out with old and in with the new, as in a fully internal moulded deck with a new transom. Portside on the Pro Fisherman now sees a transom door with a wet storage compartment on entry, while the starboard side now houses the livebait tank and the joined-in mid-section with a removable fibreglass baitboard.
Large sidepockets are under each gunwale and a 150lt underfloor killtank completes the fishing cockpit just nicely, said Hooker Boats.
With the same large console, the boatbuilder said there's more than ample room for safety gear and a new moulded footrest for comfort. The large helm seat is insulated and features a swing-over backrest while the console also boasts a large forward icebox which also makeshifts as extra seating, so you can keep an eye on the kiddies underway.
And as if two large iceboxes and an underfloor killtank isn't enough, Hooker Boats added that there is another monster icebox up front, just behind the dual anchorwells, so there is no need to take up any more room with removable iceboxes.
Hooker Boats said the console is plenty sizable to accommodate all electronics and is shaded with a stainless steel targa as standard.
The ride is second to none in rough water, as commercial charter fisherman will tell you, said the builder, adding that the 6.7m is very stable at rest, lands softly due to its fine entry on the hull, gets on the plane effortlessly, and has a dry ride in windy conditions.
And with a 400lt fuel capacity, long-haul fishing is an option, added Hooker Boats.
