Boasting Australia’s largest range of innovative adventure day boats, The Adventure Boat Company is also perfectly placed to guide your next boat purchase, to help you realise your own marine dreams with a range of Scandinavian-designed craft that wrap sublime style and comfort around a core of functionality, performance, and strength.
Representing a new breed of vessel, these boats offer flexible layouts to enhance entertaining, with a peerless quality of finish to satisfy the most demanding of owners. And while superb sea-keeping and exhilarating performance are a given, customers are also drawn to these boats’ surprising value, with a compelling pricing and features equation that can’t be ignored.

Located in Sydney but with a national footprint of trusted sales and service outlets, The Adventure Boat Company is the Australian importer of three Finnish adventure day boat brands – Saxdor, XO and Quarken – and in 2022 it’s bringing a brace of sleek and sophisticated new models to our shores.
Nominated for European Powerboat of the Year 2022, the Saxdor 320 GTC makes an exquisite statement on the water. With a GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) construction and available with either one or two Mercury outboards offering 300hp, 450hp or 600hp, this new model builds on the targa-top Saxdor 320 GTO, with an electrically operated canvas sunroof that opens up the full-beam cabin to the great outdoors and electric folding terraces that expand the aft deck’s footprint considerably.

Meanwhile, the twin-stepped hull allows the Saxdor 320 GTC to slice through waves with total precision, smoothing progress even in choppy conditions.
The wheelhouse can seat six in comfort, while the walkaround design leads to a foredeck with double sun pad. Between the spacious dinette and aft table and sofa, the Saxdor 320 GTC can accommodate sit-down eating for up to eight, while the stand-alone port-side galley features a sink, twin fridges and generous storage.

The lower deck, meanwhile, features a large bed with ergonomic mattress base and a spacious toilet with folding door, along with lots of natural light courtesy of the two sizeable Lewmar hatches in the cabin roof.
This clever boat has the deck space of a 40-footer in a 32-foot package with a 28-foot price tag, while its roomy full-beam cabin is significantly larger than most rivals, without encroaching on the flexibility of its walkaround design.

The new Saxdor 320 GTC will thrill, delight and inspire. Whether you prioritise performance or entertaining pleasure, this quality craft will do it all.

A new brand due to reach Australia in November, Quarken is the product of Osmo Roukala, the well-established industry veteran behind renowned names such as Finnmaster, Grandezza, and Husky.

Spearheading the new range, the Quarken 27 will be available in open, cabin and targa-top formats, and mates a twin-stepped performance hull with the new Yamaha 300hp outboard, and class-leading digital fly-by-wire throttle and electric steering as standard on every boat.

Conceived, designed and built in Finland, the Quarken 27 embodies a core philosophy of quality, functionality and simplicity, with a strong emphasis on versatility to allow owners to maximise their enjoyment on the water.

Featuring a GRP construction, this 27-foot boat will accommodate up to eight people in a cabin format (nine in open or T-top formats), while its 300hp rating can see it achieve speeds of up to 43 knots.
Every Quarken has a large twin berth with ensuite toilet along with ‘plug and play’ seating options to cater for every occasion. The offset helm design sees the spacious bow and aft deck linked by a port-side walkway for safe and convenient access.

The clean helm offers excellent 360-degree vision while the skipper’s and passenger’s seats can swivel to face the sofa, turning the saloon into a social area that’s great for entertaining.

The Quarken 27 T-Top features enormous sun beds usually only found on larger craft, while both it and the Quarken 27 Cabin will be available in both ‘Standard Edition’ and ‘Special Edition’ variants. And to celebrate the arrival of this distinctive brand, the first six Quarken models sold will be made available at special introductory launch pricing.

The new XO DFNDR 8 integrates a rugged, military-grade aluminium hull with a GRP superstructure, resulting in an incredibly tough vessel that will appease the hardiest of on-water adventurers, while taking the most testing of marine conditions in its stride.
The rugged deep-V aluminium hull ensures superb handling in the most arduous of seas, while a choice of one or two outboards up to 450hp can push the DFNDR 8 to speeds of over 50 knots.

However, it’s the XO DFNDR 8’s innovative approach to adaptability and flexibility of design that will also draw plenty of interest, with the boat’s semi-customisable layout allowing owners to tailor the craft to best suit their needs.
The DFNDR 8 is available in two basic formats – one with open safari walls and another with fully enclosable side screens and an aft hardtop wall – but the former can be optioned with fixed side windows to create a more enclosed cabin boat. Whether your focus is sport fishing, day cruising, or commuting in testing conditions, there’s a DFNDR 8 format that fits the bill.

The raised bow area converts to a sun bed, while there’s also a separate head and saloon passenger seating that converts to a bed for two, delivering additional comfort and amenity for overnighting.
Need even more room? The XO DFNDR 9 (pictured below) adds further functionality for those who want to spend even more time on the water.
