Yamaha Launches Four-Stroke F350

Yamaha took the wraps off its new four-stroke F350 model at the recent Miami Boat Show

The F350 is the first four-stroke outboard to utilise a V8 powerhead. It delivers a maximum power output of 350hp at the prop shaft, which is the highest horsepower rating for an outboard motor in the world today.

The massive power and torque of this model ensures a big boost in speed and acceleration performance, and it is also a model that provides outstanding durability and reliability, along with an extremely comfortable operating performance.

The F350 has a three-star rating under the 2008 emissions standards of the California Air Resource Board (CARB), which are said to be the world’s most stringent.

The production schedule for Australian delivery of the outboard is yet to be announced.
“Boat manufacturers and boaters alike now have a realistic power alternative to the traditional inboard/outboard propulsion system,” said Yamaha’s Brett Hampson.
