The Odessa 530 joined Yalta's six-model range almost two years ago and according to Groth, it is one of the company's best selling rigs thanks to its user-friendly features.
"It is an ideal boat for the first timer and is easily towed behind a medium to large four-cylinder sedan - and its walk-up stern arrangement is ideal for family boaties," Groth says.
The midrange vessel features an extended outboard transom step, aiding access on and off the boat. Other recent improvements include adjustments to the design of the hull for improved stability at rest and a drier, smoother ride.
The broad-purpose sports-cuddy cabin design is suitable to a range of family boating uses, whether it be the odd spot of fishing, skiing, picnicking or just towing water toys.
Standard features include padded rear lounge and seat boxes, fibreglass side pockets, an open cabin with no bulkhead, baitboxes, twin bunks and tinted cabin side windows.
The Odessa 530 boat, motor and trailer package is priced at $31,150, fitted with a 70hp Johnson or Evinrude outboard. Other single outboard engine options up to 115hp are available.
Navigational lights, sounder, radio, canopy and safety gear are fitted as standard equipment and the Odessa 530 is covered by a two-year warranty.
A number of extras such as cockpit carpet, cabin lining, split bow rail and folding rear lounge are also available.
