Windcraft managing director, Peter Hrones said: "To receive this award is a great honour and it is pleasing to see the many years of hard work recognised.
"This is the second time we have received this award and it gives me great pleasure to be involved with such a successful brand, both here in Australia and throughout the world," he said.
To mark the occasion Hanse Yachts founder, Michael Schmidt, made the journey down under to celebrate with Windcraft and attend the Sydney International Boat Show where Windcraft had 12 vessels on display, including the world release of the new Moody 45 DS.
"Michael told me many years ago that he would come to Australia once we had sold 100 Hanse Yachts," said Hrones.
"We have well and truly exceeded that now, and with the Dealer of the Year award, the world release of the Moody 45 DS and our biggest ever presence at the Sydney show, all the pieces fell into place."
"I look forward to the coming years and further developing the brand here in Australia," Hrones said.
