Whittley Marine is in its 65th year of operations in 2018, and to help mark the milestone it's released two limited-edition 'heritage' cruisers.
The Fleetmaster 23 and Fleetmaster 26 will both enjoy their public debut at the upcoming Melbourne Boat Show (June 28 to July 1) at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, before heading north to the Sydney International Boat Show (August 2 to 6).
The Fleetmaster 23 is a soft-top sports cruiser with an LOA of 7.6 metres, and with features including a double berth, fridge, sink, stove, toilet and a large moulded rear platform, Whittley says it's perfect for watersports, fishing, cruising and weekending. The boat comes as a BMT package (boat/motor/trailer) on a Mackay trailer with Volvo Penta V6 200 SX engine, and is priced at $99,990.

The Fleetmaster 26, meanwhile, is a hard top with an LOA of 8.5 metres, yet it still retains a legally trailerable beam of 2.5 metres. With accommodation for four adults and a sliding cabin door for privacy, the Fleetmaster 26 also comes on a Mackay trailer with a Volvo Penta V6 200 SX, and is priced at $149,990.

According to Whittley Marine Managing Director, Neville Whittley, the two Fleetmaster additions were a logical choice to help the company celebrate its anniversary.
"The Fleetmaster model name is well known, being one of the most popular sports cruiser models since fiberglass boat building was introduced to the company," he said.
"The Melbourne Boat Show is Whittley's hometown boat show, so it's the perfect time to release these new model packages. We encourage patrons to come and help celebrate Whittley's 65th birthday and experience the Whittley range of quality boats, built right here in Victoria.
"The two new Fleetmaster models are designed specifically for local Australian boat buyers. They offer great value with a high quality hull, motor and trailer package and are available for a limited time only.
"They will be on display at the Melbourne Boat Show as well as through the authorised Whittley dealer network. With discounts of more than $25,000, it is a fantastic time to consider the Whittley boating lifestyle and enjoy the savings."
The new boats can be found at stand #D4 at the Melbourne Boat Show.
