What is it? Riviera teases 'world premiere' for 2019 Sydney International Boat Show

Can we expect to see something a little bit different with Riviera’s upcoming 2020 new model release?

Gold Coast luxury yacht maker Riviera has teased it will use the 2019 Sydney International Boat Show to host a world premiere of a new model due in 2020.

An invitation sent to media ahead of the show’s August 1 opening teases that Riviera will have four new boats on display in Sydney, including the new Platinum Edition models that have enhanced the boat-maker’s three-model Sport Yacht line, and the all-new Riviera 545 SUV already teased ahead of the event.

However, the release goes on to say that Riviera will also drop details on “a special announcement” that relates to a “new 2020 world premiere”.

Big diversion?

While no details of what Riviera will unveil at the Sydney show are known, boatsales believes that the new luxury vessel will be a big diversion for the brand.

Riviera has previously revealed that it was looking to add new products “in the market’s sweet spot”, believed to be around the mid-50 foot mark.

The motor yacht brand has scheduled an announcement for 11am on Thursday, August 1 on the same day that the 2019 Sydney International Boat Show opens.
