POWERBOATS & FISHING
A new Travelling Fishing Show tank has a genuine Savage boat attached to the top which acts as the fishing platform, a Mercury 60hp Four Stroke engine fitted to the boat for effect and real fish inhabit the tank for authentic demonstrations. The purpose built 45ft (13.7m) fishing tank features glass sides so spectators can easily view and learn fishing techniques from professional presenters.

Cairns Fishing Report - The river and estuary fishing is good after one of the biggest "wet" seasons for years. Quality fishing is assured offshore when the winds abate and guess what happens after a big wet in remote Cape York - the fish bite their bloody heads off!

Following several years of sponsorship difficulties for the Geraldton & Districts Offshore Fishing Club, Halco Tackle stepped up to the plate as naming rights sponsor for the 2006 Abrolhos Islands Game Fishing tournament. While the marlin fishing was very quiet this year, the light tackle fishing was spectacular, producing a classic shootout amongst the top light tackle teams.

CruiseCraft provided the ultimate boating prize give-away for the annual Boyne-Tannum Hook Up Fishing competition, with local Gladstone chiropractor Jean-Pierre Selsis taking home the CruiseCraft Outsider 575 walk-around.
