Lightwave is releasing the 46ft Powercat at Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on May 18 - 21. It follows the design concept of the 40ft, delivering excellent fuel efficiencies at good cruising speeds. Fitted with twin 160hp Volvo diesel motors with shaft drives, it includes a master stateroom with walk in robe, guest cabin with ensuite and a double cabin.
The Brisbane based F1 race team, Trask Development Corporation/Sea Quest sat out the Hobart round of the Australian Superboat F1 series.
