Arif Al Zafeen and Nadir Bin Hendi completed a hat-trick of wins on Fazza 3 at the Brazilian Grand Prix, taking a maximum 40 points from round one of the UIM Class 1 World Powerboat Championship. Fazza 1’s Mohammed Al Marri and Abdullah Al Mehairbi pushed their teammates all the way to claim another second place finish. Class-1.com.
After the opening round in Temora of the Continental Tyres Australian Superboat Championships, the teams now go away to regroup and in some cases, rebuild in time for round two in Griffith over the Easter weekend. Wellington turned on a spectacular day for round five of the Rayglass New Zealand Offshore Powerboat Championship. Bakewell-White designed Team Doosan won by half a lap from Team 3 and one lap from Fairview Windows and Doors. Event details and results are posted on NZ Offshore.co.nz.
