Wauquiez 41 set for debut

The Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 41, the successor of the 130 Pilot Saloon 40, will make its Australian debut at Sydney International Boat Show, August 3 to 8

Said to sport a sleek, curved coach house, the new Pilot Saloon 41 benefited during its development from comments and suggestions by Pilot Saloon 40 owners.

The result, according to the company, is a yacht with panoramic views, increased saloon headroom, and excellent ventilation from eight opening ports, which are hidden by lateral louvres.

The 41 is said to offer outstanding hull lines; a fine entry at the bow contributing to speed, upwind performance and directional stability in choppy seas.

Other factors contributing to the Pilot Saloon 41's performance are: a profiled bulb keel; a powerful rig; aft-swept spreaders; an efficient sail management system; powerful winches; and top quality deck fittings.

The Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 41 can be seen at the Beneteau display at the show.
