Following hot on the heels of the VRFish electoral wish list, which we reported on yesterday, the Peak Body for Victoria's recreational anglers has released its electoral checklist for the upcoming state election.
On behalf of Victoria’s 721,000 recreational fishers, VRFish, in its role as the organisation representing recreational fishing in Victoria, is proactively seeking commitments from Victoria’s major political parties to improve and enhance recreational fishing in the State of Victoria.
The electoral checklist is designed to ensure the future recreational fishing policies and investment of the major political parties are clear. The checklist is a table with the questions which were posed to the various political parties. You can see at a glance how the different parties answered VRFish's questions and what they are going to do for anglers and boaters in Victoria.
The document will be communicated by VRFish to the 721,000 recreational fishers of Victoria.
This checklist is based on information provided by Victorian political parties.
