After a successful release of the first IPS powered Flybridge at the 2007 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Mustang and Volvo have extended their development program to include the new 18.10m Flybridge vessel to be released in December.
The IPS engines will be under the cockpit floor allowing for a more efficient use of space and provide larger living areas.
By incorporating IPS technology, the Mustang M56 will also boast improved fuel efficiency, increased acceleration and handling, and reduced noise levels through its underwater exhaust.
"Through the development of IPS technology in our Sports Cruiser range and now the successful introduction into the first Australian Flybridge vessel (M43 Sports Flybridge), Mustang and our customers have embraced the benefits offered by this system and we will continue to expand its use to new models and customers," said Mustang Marine CEO, Paul Scanlon.
The M56 Sports Flybridge is due for release in December 2007 with the first IPS powered model to follow in early 2008.
