Ensign Ship Brokers has announced the sale of the first Australian-based Bavaria Virtess 420 Flybridge. For Ensign directors, Tony Ross and Andy Howden, this news was the perfect end to a fantastic year for Bavaria.
The delivery of the Virtess 420 will coincide with the Australian launch of the European-made cruisers at the 2013 Sydney International Boat Show. Already awarded the Nautical Design Award, the vessel will go one step further and be awarded the prestigious title of European Boat of the Year in January 2013, hopes Tony and Andy.
Having witnessed the world unveiling of the Virtess 420 at the Cannes Boat Show, Tony Ross cannot speak highly enough of the vessel. We published the ocean-going footage here late last year.
"The open arrangement with the cockpit flowing into the saloon and galley is superb, the headroom amazing, and to offer a three-cabin two-bathroom layout in such a way as to have a main stateroom of that calibre on a 42’ vessel is clearly a credit to the outstanding creativity of Italian designer, Too Design,” beamed Tony.
