Viking 82 Sky Bridge
New control station at virtual tower height for improved fish spotting, navigation and dockingViking claims to have pioneered the climate-controlled enclosed bridge, a very popular design offered on many larger 'convertibles' today, but when a Viking 82 Enclosed Bridge Convertible owner wanted that something "extra" the American design team responded with its new Sky Bridge.
This open bridge command station, towering above the enclosed bridge, provides superb visibility for navigation and fish finding, along with a surprising array of amenities including a centre console helm, concealed electronic stowage, generous seating, and easy access from the enclosed bridge aft deck.
The fibreglass hardtop is braced with aluminium 'artwork' from Viking's metal shop that is said to not only complement the inherent strength of the structure, but also adds outstanding styling with matching trail haunches in the Sky Bridge, the enclosed bridge and the deckhouse.
With a Costa Clear enclosure, the Sky Bridge becomes a virtual all-weather helm station, Viking says, adding that the aft control station is well-equipped for easy manoeuvrability when fishing and docking.
