The London Boat Show from January 12-20 marks the start of a busy year for Princess, with two new models making their international debuts at the show and more to follow thereafter.
Described as elegant, powerful and spacious, the new Princess 82 Motor Yacht epitomises everything that is Princess. From her sleek, dynamic exterior to her impeccably finished interior, she has been developed and constructed using advanced technology available in the marine industry today.
The uniquely designed deep-V hull is resin infused to ensure highly capable and efficient performance. At 55,000kg (dry), the four-cabin motor yachts hits 30-34 knots using Caterpillar C32 1620mhp, 1720hp or MTU engines. The galley and a dedicated dining area feature in the saloon.
Meantime, the new Princess 52 is one of a long line of successful Princess flybridge models benefitting from five decades of experience and expertise in this market space. Engine options range from base 575hp Volvo D9s to 670hp D11s to 715hp Caterpillar C12s for 29-31 knot top speed.
Crew quarters are optional in the three cabin 52, which boats a full-beam stateroom and two en suites. The layout is well suited to local boating ways and Princess Australia should take delivery of the boat mid-2013.
Princess says her contemporary design, exceptional quality and exhilarating performance means the P52 is sure to keep Princess leading the way. Local boats will like the fact the galley is situated aft of the saloon, creating a highly sociable atmosphere, while the extra space below deck allows for three very spacious and beautifully appointed cabins.
The Princess 82 Motor Yacht and the Princess 52 will be the central focus of a 10 boat display inside London’s ExCel, which includes London boat show debuts for the Princess 56 and the new V62-S and a return for the ever popular V39 that stole the show at London last year.
Also on display will be the Princess 60 and 64 flybridge models, Princess 72 Motor Yachts and Princess V57 and V72 V Class sports yachts.
