Twinfisher expands in Brisbane

Orange-based boat manufacturer Webster's Twinfisher has expanded its Australian network with the appointment of Northside Marine in Brisbane as its latest dealer.

A family-owned business, Northside Marine was founded by Keith Nickerson in 1965 and is now run by his son Greg Nickerson who says the Twinfisher's use of just one outboard to drive a catamaran hull has already proved a hit was Queensland boaties.

He says the cost savings and benefits of the one-outboard set-up are achieved without compromising the performance of the unique hull design.

Daniel Schofield, co-director of Webster's Twinfisher, told the Boatsales Network he was exceptionally happy to have Northside Marine representing the company. "Our Twinfisher vessels are a unique boat, both in design and performance," he says.

"It demads that we have a dealer who is committed to superior customer service and who genuinely appreciates the construction and performance," added Schofield.

Bill Hull, manger of the boat sales department at Northside Marine, says the initial response to the Twinfisher has been exceptional.

"We sold several boats off the stand at the Brisbane Boat Show and we have had lots of enquires to follow-up since," Hull says. "The stable cat hull and the single engine captured the interest of the public."
