Ever wanted to know what it would be like to own your own boat? Or do you want to get back into the boating lifestyle? Then get along to the Try Boating Day on Saturday 15 September.
Try Boating Day is an opportunity for you to experience the lifestyle that owning a trailer boat can give you. A number of boat retailers from around NSW will be taking their boats out for the day and they’ll give you the chance to go out with them on some of our most beautiful waterways.
Try Boating Day will be held at the following locations:
• Kissing Point Park, Putney
• St George Motor Boat Club, Sans Souci
• Tench Reserve, Penrith
• Rowland Reserve, Bayview
• Illawarra Yacht Club, Warrawong
• Newcastle Harbour, Newcastle
• Corcoran Park, Grafton
Try Boating Day is organised by the Boating Industry Association (NSW). This is a free event however pre-registration is required.
The BIA says that Try Boating Days are very popular and asks all guests to please be patient during peak periods. Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
