Triumph launch Down Under

Triumph Boats, originally developed in New Zealand and now built in North America, are set to launch on the Australian market at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May.

According to Triumph, the company builds the world's toughest boats. Each Triumph hull is constructed from a rotationally moulded polymer called Roplene, which is strong and durable as well as impact and corrosion resistant.

With a focus on fishing craft, Triumph also caters for family boating with its 191 FS model.

Genmar International spokesman Peter Rachtman said significant interest from Australian shores prompted the launch.

"For the past three years, I have had literally dozens of requests from boat dealers asking about Triumph," Rachtman said.

"It seems that the Australian market has learned what great product roto-moulded boats really are. Triumph will open an entire new range of buyers who appreciate the ruggedness, quietness and comfort of this type of boat, but want a boat that looks great and is filled with features."
