Trio of luxury boats for Mandurah

The WA boatshow gets the first local look at three new luxury boats

Three new luxury boats never before displayed in Australia will be the stars at next month's Mandurah Boat Show in Western Australia.

Heading the line-up will be the $8.7 million Sunseeker 86 motoryacht, the latest vessel to join the Sunseeker range.

First launched early last year, the 86 motoryacht provides accommodation for up to eight guests and four crew.

With an overall length of a fraction under 87 feet, a waterline length of 67 feet, a beam of 21 feet and a draft of 6.4 feet, the Sunseeker packs in more interior room than many much larger vessels. She has a top speed of 30 knots and a range of 350 nautical miles.

Also on display will be the Sunseeker 64 Predator and the Fountaine Pajot Lipari 41 cruising catamaran.

The Lipari 41 has nearly the same interior space as the larger Fountaine Pajot Orana 44 but costs considerably less.

She features a revolutionary rigid composite bimini over the cockpit that blends with the coach house roof and provides a semi-flybridge for the helmsman.

Check out the 2009 Mandurah Boat Show website for more details on the big event, which runs from the 9th to the 11th of October.
