Top Marks For Sanctuary Cove
Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show scored top marks in the Tourism, Hospitality and Recreation category of the 2006 Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards, held in DecemberIt is the third year in a row the major marine event has succeeded in the category. The show tied for first place with theme park Dreamworld for the 2006 awards. "
“This is a tribute to the dedicated team that brings the event together,” the show’s general manager, Barry Jenkins, said.
The 2006 May event attracted a record 423 exhibitors and close to 50,000 visitors. The annual event, staged at Sanctuary Cove in Queensland, attracts visitors from around the world and results in millions of dollars of marine business.
Bookings are already solid for the 2007 event, with more than 200 confirmed exhibitors.
