To Ski or Fish -- that is the Question

Chaparral's new crossover boats on display at Melbourne Boat Show

Hot on the heels of their Sanctuary Cove Boat Show success, Chaparral will be showing off their new entry-level range of H20 Sports and Ski/Fish bow riders at the upcoming Melbourne Boat Show.

Answering the age-old family dilemma of whether to buy a ski boat or a fishing boat, Chaparral’s new H20 Ski/Fish offers the best of both worlds.

Available in 18 and 19ft models, the Ski/Fish comes complete with removable seats and cushions that easily convert the family bow rider into a handy fishing platform. The standard live-bait tank, rod storage and remote electric saltwater trolling motor make this a truly versatile boat that should keep everyone in the family happy.

"Chaparral has not compromised on content with the new entry level H20 range," says Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia. "More standard extras, higher freeboard, great looks and salt-water tough quality are all part of the Chaparral package," he added.

Starting from $38,999, H20 is also available in a Sports model for those who already know the answer to the ski or fish question. All H20 models come standard on an Aussie-built galvanized trailer from Mackay and are nationally priced as turn-key with registration, safety gear and tuition included.

Chaparral will also have other models from their award-winning family on display at the Melbourne Show, with premium bowriders, Xtreme wake boats and sports cabin models to compare.

"Melbourne is the spiritual home of Chaparral in Australia," said O’Hare. "We always look forward to this show and we will have some great offers on the table across the whole model range."

Chaparral has been building boats for 47 years and enjoys a solid reputation worldwide for quality innovation and performance, with sports boats ranging from 18 to 42ft.
