Three New Directors For BIAQ

Three new directors have been appointed to the Boating Industry Association of Queensland (BIAQ)

They are Peter Taylor, of The Jetty Specialists on the Sunshine Coast, Robbie Williams from Gladstone Marina, and Club Marine's state manager for Brisbane, Chris Grice, who was also elected association treasurer.

Williams is the association's first director to reside outside southeast Qld.

Taylor previously served on the board from 1997 to 2001, including three terms as vice-president, while Grice recently transferred from interstate to Qld.

President Barry Jenkins, general manager of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and Sanctuary Cove Marina, was re-elected unopposed for a fifth term.

Other directors re-elected include Rob Elwell, Sharon Russell, Chris Carrington and James Cullen.

Retired directors are Kevin Nichols, Keith Cogzell and Chris Dobson.
