Three important acknowledgements for Azimut Benetti Group

New Atlantis 34 and Magellano 43 Fly nominated for awards, as Azimut's digital approach wins accolade, and yard has impending open day
The Azimut Benetti Group has received a prestigious award from the Altagamma Foundation -- established in 1992 to promote top-quality Italian industry and the culture that supports it -- and two nominations for the European Powerboat of the Year 2013 Award.
This once again confirms the excellence of the The Azimut Benetti Group, says the Italian shipyard.
The Azimut Benetti Group was nominated Best Performer in the Digital World 2012, according to the study carried out by the Digital Luxury Index of the authoritative Altagamma Foundation.
This acknowledgment is for "the exemplary work carried out in digital communication, from the corporate website to the presence on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube."
Local boat builders could learn a thing or two from Azimut's professionalism and reach in the growing online world.
The study analyses online performances of about 300 Italian and international luxury brands in different business categories on the basis of more than 70 key indicators.
Giovanna Vitelli, member of the Board of Azimut Benetti Group, points out: "We are very gratified for the appreciation of the Group's commitment to be on the van, as to the communication strategies and techniques -- particularly in the digital field -- expressed by a prestigious institution as Altagamma.
"The Foundation has been working for 20 years with companies representing the Italian excellence in the world, with the aim of promoting the image and the management culture. This is an important reward for our steady engagement in standing as real ambassadors of Made in Italy. On-line, too," Vitelli added.
Azimut Yachts and Atlantis also obtained two nominations in the European Powerboat of the Year 2013 Award (EPY 2013) for its baby Atlantis 34 and for Azimut Magellano 43 Fly. The nominations were announced at the 52nd Genoa Boat Show.
The new Atlantis 34, the first model of the brand under-10 metres, is said to be built according to the highest standards of quality and style, and characterised by extreme comfort and excellent performance. As such, the boat received the nomination in the category “under-35 feet.”
For Azimut Yachts, the Magellano 43 Fly was nominated in the category “up to 45 feet.” A modern interpretation of the trawler, this 13-metre yacht was originally conceived in flybridge version, but gained hard top to create a new variant launched at Genoa.
