A Seychelles Island resort has just purchased it's third Steber-built vessel to add to its growing fleet. Fregate Island Private has purchased the 38 footer as a transfer vessel taking passengers to and from the island to the mainland.
The boat will also be used for game fishing and dive charters and general sightseeing cruises. The vessel's hull has been painted a unique Jade Mist Green, the resort's new 2017 livery.
The resort purchased it's first Steber back in 1999, a 43 footer and, along with a 38 footer, continues as part of the fleet today. This underscores the longevity of the tough and timeless Steber boat.
The Seychelles Islands are located in the Indian Ocean, North East of Madagascar and about1600km east of Kenya. The archipelago consists of 115 islands. So Steber's reputation is getting around
The new addition to the Fregate fleet is being trans-shipped to the island nation and is due to arrive late-November, 2016.
The new resort vessel has left Steber's Taree factory on the first leg of its journey to the Seychelles, a road trip to Sydney, before being placed on a container ship. More at www.steber.com.au.
