Thieves target Haines Hunter project boat

Distinctive project boat last seen this morning near Kooweerup after disappearing from Dromana

A restored Haines Hunter 445 centre console fishing boat featured on boatsales.com.au over the last year was this morning stolen from Dromana.

Dan Wright, who spent the last year updating readers with the progress of the classic hull’s restoration and transformation into a dedicated fishing platform, told boatsales.com.au this morning that the project boat had been spotted in Melbourne’s outer south-east.
