The biggest Sea-Doo Ride Day in Australia

Almost 200 riders take to the Gold Coast waterways for the biggest JSW Powersports Ride Day ever

The world’s biggest Sea-Doo dealer, JSW Powersport on the Gold Coast, staged a massive ride day on Sunday, May 7, with almost 200 riders hitting the local waterways under the professional guidance of expert crew.

The popular ride day entailed 55km of 'Sea-Dooing from the boat ramp at The Spit, out the Seaway and around South Stradbroke Island, before returning to Broadwater through notorious Jumpinpin Bar.

With its shallow waterways, sandy channels, banks and surf beaches, the Gold Coast is tailor made for exploring by nimble, shallow-draft watercraft. Every weekend, surfers score tow-ins, fishos hit the local reefs and troll for mackerel, and scores of fun-seekers can be seen just touring the clear waters.

Under the guidance of JSW Powersports staff, both experienced and beginner riders were all able to take part in a great Gold Coast experience, while acquiring new skills and learn how to master their Sea-Doos in a variety of conditions.

Sunny skies and calm weather added to the upbeat tmosphere as did the beautiful setting of Tipplers Resort café, which was a designated stopover for a waterside breakfast and relax. The Sea-FM team staged live crosses and giveaways.

Jeff McNiven, Principal of JSW Powersports, didn’t hold back in covering his massive ride day. He had a photographer in a helicopter taking some great shots, a Sea Fox 288 Commander chase boat put to sea, and a JSW demo Malibu 21 VLX on the Broadwater route with wakeboarders on board.

"Our well-managed events give riders of all levels more confidence and skills so they can experience a PWC ride that they may not otherwise try on their own.

"The feedback from our loyal customers and local riders has been fantastic and we will continue to organise more of these events in the future," McNiven said.
