Sydney's bumper boat show

Almost 1000 boats to catch your eye

The 43rd annual Sydney International Boat Show, at Cockle Bay in the city's inner west, has attracted more than 900 boats ranging from dinghys to superyachts for display.

The large floating marina that takes up most of Cockle Bay has 213 bookings and another 700 plus boats will be on display with the halls of the adjacent Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre.

Domenic Genua, marketing and event manager for the show, says more than three million people have visited the SIBS since the first show was held at Darling Harbour in 1968 and that more than 80,000 people are expected to attend this year’s show.

The record attendance for the show was set a couple of years ago when more than 93,000 people flocked to the five day exhibition.

The show will open on July 29 and run until August 2. Tickets can be booked online at SydneyBoatShow.com.au.

If you're heading down to the show, be sure to come over and say hello to the Boatsales team! We're at stand 438.
