SYDNEY BOAT SHOW: Yamaha WaveRunners launch
All the latest WaveRunners for racing, fishing, tow-ins and affordable fun on the new EX rangeYamaha WaveRunners will have three new models at the 50th Sydney International Boat Show opening August 3, with rides for everyone from racers and freestylers to fishers and families.
POTENT GP1800
For 2017, Yamaha has reinvigorated the line-up with an all-new, race-ready GP1800, which has already proved its pace by winning numerous events domestically and overseas.
The new GP1800 has the industry’s largest capacity 1.8 litre supercharged engine with a precision designed lightweight hull. We can attest that this is one potent and agile WaveRunner.
EX FOR EXTRA VALUE
The all-new recreational-lite EX and EX Deluxe are compact, lightweight and affordable models designed to put the personal back into personal-watercraft.
Shoe-horned within the light and fun fibreglass hull is Yamaha’s award-winning 1-litre, TR-1 marine engine. The three-cylinder engine still packs a thrilling ride.
JETFISH
Meanwhile, Yamaha’s JetFish brand concept will return to the show once again, showcasing the versatility and flexibility of WaveRunners, and how they work so well when geared up for fishing.
Over the past year, the Jetfish brand has headlined across the country, giving savvy fishermen a new way to head offshore and catch fish without breaking the bank.
MID-RANGE AND SUPERJET
In the middle of the range is Yamaha’s VX and FX models, combining family-friendly fun, versatility and features in an affordable package, while at the pointy-end is Yamaha’s high-performance SVHO powered models, featuring supercharged powertrains and lightened-hulls for unrivalled excitement.
Yamaha’s WaveRunner range also includes the legendary SuperJet, a raw and engaging stand-up machine that has thrilled for decades.
All models, bar the SuperJet and EX feature Yamaha’s-exclusive RiDE dual-throttle control system. The innovative electronic throttle control makes manoeuvring watercraft safer and easier.
At the 50th Sydney International Boat Show, exhibiting Yamaha Dealerships are offering free lifejackets and gear bags with all WaveRunners purchased.
