Chaparral will have two new models at the Sydney International Boat show — the upmarket 227SSx bowrider with a new 300hp 6.2L V8 MerCruiser inboard for the first time in NSW, and an Australian debut of the new 210 Suncoast Sports.
The Suncoast range is the first outboard offering from Chaparral in more than 25 years and is said to be packed with innovative features and clever ideas, while the 227SSx we tested is an impressive performance bowrider with a sporty drive, upmarket finishes and real refinement.
"I am looking forward to this year’s Chaparral showing," said Lee Blake from Blakes Marine, the NSW dealer and Sydney Chaparral exhibitor.
"The two new models will definitely generate sales. They are real standouts in design and packed with standard features.
"Sydney buyers have embraced the Chaparral 'saltwater tough heritage, with superior construction, materials and build quality being exactly what people are looking for in a sportsboat.
Blakes will also have a 223 Vortex twin jet VRX model on display with 400hp of jet engines. The boat is said to generate an awesome surf wave at low speed via the re-direction of the twin jet thrust across the unique APS hull surface.
The popular Chaparral H2o entry level bowriders, SSi cuddy and Sunesta sports decks will also feature at the Glebe Island show site from Thursday July 28 through to Monday August 1.
