SYDNEY BOAT SHOW: SACs luxury RIBs

Semi-custom deluxe rigid inflatables from Italy should get plenty of interest

At the 2015 Sydney International Boat Show, Sacs Marine Australia will be presenting a selection from the Italian-made, new generation RIB range to suit the Australian boating lifestyle.

Sacs tells us that the range is available from four to 18-metres and boasts superior styling, performance and handling, large floor space and a myriad of features that equate to an extremely stable, quiet and dry ride.

Sacs Marine Australia representative, Richard Gazal said the standout values of Italian craftsmanship, attention to detail and appetite for performance will ensure Sacs RIBS attract plenty of attention at SIBS.

"The Sacs range is unique in its European styling and finish. Sacs boats offer something different for those looking for a more stylish, performance based rigid inflatable," Gazal said.

There are three core product lines in the Sacs range: Individual Class, Sport Class and Top Class.

The Sacs Sport Class S780, Top Class Strider 8, Strider 10 and Strider 13 will be a  examples of the Sacs stable, berthed on the south arm of the Cockle Bay Marina, Darling Harbour.

The S780 is a spacious and powerful 7.8m launch, designed with elegant, fluid lines, teak decks and a sporty console at its heart, and with capacity for up to 20 people.

At 8.43m, the Strider 8 combines elegance, performance and versatility. As a luxury tender, the Strider 8 would suit a large luxury yacht as a safe, stable and stylish ship-to-shore vessel, as well as for day trips, skiing and other water sports. The Strider 8 is also the ideal launch for day cruising, with a 16-person capacity, spacious teak deck, dining table and seating, large sun pads and swim platform with ladder.

The Strider 10 is 10m of sleek, streamlined RIB, with additional sideboards near the engines for safe and convenient boarding. On board, the dining table, seating, wet bar and fridge, generously-sized sun pads and ample deck area, make the Strider 10 ideal for sunbathing, entertaining and socialising. There’s a private WC and change room, as well as a double bed below decks for comfortable overnight stays.

The Strider 13 Open is the versatile, luxury super tender or sporty day-boat for those looking for a high performance boat with lots of space for outdoor life.

Ideal for day trips with friends or overnights, it boasts a roomy cockpit, inviting sundeck, swim platform and electric ladder, canopy, kitchenette, meals area and superbly-crafted table and lounge, and a double bed in the stern with private WC, shower and basin.

The driving station and seats are ergonomic and aesthetic, guaranteeing an unparalleled, smooth, dry ride and head-turning style.

At Sydney International Boat Show, Sacs Marine experts will be on hand to explain the many unique characteristics of these and other Sacs models, as well as the comprehensive after-sale service and support.
