Robalo Boats will be featuring the latest R206 Cayman bay boat at the Sydney International Boat Show next week, making it the first time the US boat has been seen in NSW.
According to Scott O’Hare from Robalo Australia the new boat should be a hit: "The new Cayman ticks a lot of boxes for anyone considering a bass boat but wanting to do more than just flat-water fishing," he said. "NSW anglers will be impressed with the new concept and we expect the Cayman series to be a strong part of the Robalo line up. We will also have crossover and centre consoles on display," O'Hare added.
"Since last year’s show we have seen a steady rise in enquiry and sales for Robalo in NSW and for the whole of Australia for that matter.
"Once buyers do their research, they quickly learn that Robalo is a stand out in what is becoming a hotly-contested US fishing boat market," said O’Hare.
Robalo has been building serious offshore fishing boats since 1968 and now offers a range of centre-console, walkaround, crossover bowriders and bay boats from 18 to 30 feet that are all fundamentally offshore fishing boats but with stylish appeal and clever designs that also suit the family market.
"We are competitively priced when compared with other well-known US brands and with an international reputation for innovation, use of quality materials, tough construction and soft riding hulls, Robalo is set to become a force in Australia," he said.
This year’s Sydney Boat Show will be held in two locations; on-water at cockle bay and off-water at the temporary Glebe Island facility with ferries running between the two sites. Robalo’s display will be at the Glebe Island indoor facility on stand number 400.
