Whoever said boating is only for the rich and too expensive clearly
didn't visit the 2016 Sydney International Boat Show and check out the
great aluminium boat rigs!
Australia's biggest boatbuilder Telwater is supporting its award-winning boat dealers at the show and using the occasion to showcase its latest models to the fishing and family-boating fraternity. It's also ensuring boating remains an affordable recreation for Australians with some keenly priced tinny rigs.
Between long-serving Hunts Marine and TR Marine, the new Quintrex spread will include the latest 2016-model Yellowfin bluewater plate sportfishers, the Tridents and Fishabouts, as well as the Renegades — perfect for the Harbour and the Hawkesbury — the family-orientated Cruiseaboats, and the best-selling 481 Top Ender.
Well-respected Stacer dealers Blakes Marine and Huett Marine Centre will reveal the new-for-2016 Crossfire models, which are 80 per cent fishing and 20 per cent fun, using large forward casting platforms that double as family seating, along with more great innovations.
Elsewhere you will find the 2016-model Stacer 619 Ocean Ranger, Easy Riders, Bay Masters, Outlaws and Sea Runners to cover all your aluminium-boating options.
The new Stacer Crossfire 509 with Evinrude outboard up to 115hp and trailer is being offered as a package.
Indeed, Blakes Marine and Huett Marine Centre will both have Stacer BMT ‘Ready 2 Go’ packages — we found a cracking runabout rig for just under $22k — and loose Evinrude engines for sale, while Hunts Marine has the Quintrex ‘Instant Boating’ packages and loose Evinrude engines with similar keen pricing.
Catch all the big Telwater boats, engines and brands at the Glebe Island exhibit of the 2016 Sydney boat show. Kudos to Telwater for keeping boating affordable! More at www.sydneyboatshow.com.au.
