The doors will open today at 10am for the running of the 46th Sydney International Boat Show. The event will also celebrate the 25th time it has been in the Darling Harbour precinct.
With a long and proud tradition of bringing the joys of the boating lifestyle to public, the annual Sydney boat show is a must-see major event. The show's popularity is well known, being the largest recreational marine event in the Southern Hemisphere.
While the new boats and latest boating kit are the heroes of the show, the entertainment and education packages ensure the expected 65,000-plus visitors have a great day out.
With the Exhibition Halls at capacity and the specially-built marina in Cockle Bay accommodating more than 160 vessels, most of which are just way too big for the halls, visitors will find something for every boating bent and budget.
Those wishing to visit the show can learn more about the varity of guest speakers and activities at www.sydneyboatshow.com.au and by following the great boating event on Facebook and Twitter.
Of course, as key media supporters, boatsales and BoatPoint will be at the show, offering advice on how best to buy and sell your boat, and giving away our famous branded beach balls to big and little crew. Drop in and say "hi" at Stand 507, Hall 5.
Show Dates: Thursday, August 1, to Monday, August 5. Hours: Halls 10.00am to 8.00pm, marina closes at 6.00pm daily.
