Yamaha will have its complete range of four-stroke outboard engines from the portable F2.5 to the powerful F350 V8 — including the latest Yamaha F90 and F25 — along with new rigging technology and some exclusive offers at the 50th Sydney International Boat Show.
Debuting for the first time at the Sydney boat show, the all-new lightweight F90C Four-Stroke is the second-generation 90 horsepower four-stroke and proving to be exceptionally popular with savvy boaters looking to extract the maximum performance from their 90hp-rated boat.
The F90’s unique single-cam design actuates four-valves per cylinder, delivering smooth operation and efficiency while also reducing overall weight. It’s a very sweet outboard.
Attracting no less attention, the new F25 is pitched by Yamaha as a replacement for traditional 25hp tow-stroke outboards. The F25 shaved 20kg off the previous generation four-stroke offering in this horsepower class.
This compact and efficient 25 horsepower engine features battery-less EFI, NMEA2000 compatibility for third-party systems, and presents itself as the new category leader with its lightweight design.
COMMAND LINK
Complementing the complete Yamaha Outboard range is the all-new CL-7 Command-Link 7in digital engine gauge. The all-inclusive high-definition, digital colour gauge has NMEA2000 compatibility and monitors of up to four outboards and critical boat systems.
With the addition of optional components, the CL-7 Command-Link Plus gauge can also be used as a chart plotter and depth sounder and also has the ability to connect to radar, video input, and stereo control. With an integrated gateway built in to allow external connectivity to other multi-function displays, the CL-7 is compatible with all of Yamaha’s Digital Electronic Control engines.
Exhibiting Yamaha Dealerships are also offering exclusive purchase opportunities at the show, including up to $900 off eligible 30 to 90hp outboards, free gear-bag and PFDs with F2.5 to F25 outboards, and free premium rigging worth up to $3200 on eligible F115 to F350 models.
